Record the source price and the agent's displayed total as separate fields. In the checkout view we logged on 2026-09-19, a Weidian item showed CNY 860 on iTaobuy and US$151.29 for the product; 860 ÷ 151.29 gives 5.6844 CNY per US$1. The same preview added CNY 15 domestic shipping (US$2.64), producing a US$153.93 order total with international shipping excluded. That is a dated snapshot, not a permanent rate. Re-run the calculation for the real order and keep the date, currency, domestic charges, optional services and international freight in separate columns so the effective rate stays visible.
Using iTaobuy to decode a TikTok product claim
The working method is claim, source, evidence, verdict.
